My path into accounting wasn't the typical one. I started in B2C
sales, moved into Fortune 500 operations as a Six Sigma Black Belt
working in Lean and project management, then joined my
father-in-law's accounting firm after my first child was born —
and ran it for five years.
We adopted Karbon early. I self-implemented it, went deep on templates
and automations, and taught myself Python to build the integrations we
needed. Along the way I got to know the Karbon and Intuit teams well,
and discovered work I genuinely love.
Today I help accounting firms get more out of Karbon — fixing
templates, implementing engagements, and building custom integrations.
My broader mission: help small and mid-sized firms stay independent in an industry being reshaped by private equity and automation, with tools
that scale without sacrificing the human relationships their clients value
most.
